　　3月28日，世界知名眼科專刊、英國(guó)《The Ophthalmologist 》 發(fā)布2020年度世界眼科人物具影響力100強(qiáng)。希瑪眼科集團(tuán)主席、上海希瑪瑞視眼科醫(yī)院院長(zhǎng)林順潮教授再次入選！這是林順潮教授第四次獲選世界眼科百?gòu)?qiáng)。

　　據(jù)了解，《眼科醫(yī)生》每?jī)赡暝u(píng)選一次世界眼科人物具影響力100強(qiáng)榜單，入選的100位眼科人物來自多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)。

　　該榜單評(píng)選嚴(yán)格按照三個(gè)步驟進(jìn)行：由知名眼科醫(yī)生組成的評(píng)審團(tuán)從候選者中選出100名近年在眼科領(lǐng)域取得突出成績(jī)的學(xué)者，再進(jìn)行排名，所有過程均為匿名，因此有很高的性。此評(píng)選從2014年開始，每2年舉辦一次，以表彰這些醫(yī)生近年在眼科領(lǐng)域取得的杰出成就。

　　Piece of advice fyour younger self?

　　要有遠(yuǎn)大的夢(mèng)想，在尋找未來的趨勢(shì)和顛覆性改變的同時(shí)，今天就要用行動(dòng)來?yè)肀鼈儭C(jī)會(huì)眷顧有準(zhǔn)備的人。生命苦短，謹(jǐn)記無時(shí)無刻踐行善意。「生命的價(jià)值不在乎于擁有，而是付出！」聚焦，聚焦，聚焦！你沒有時(shí)間去做所有你想做的事情，但卻有時(shí)間去做那些只有你才會(huì)做得好而又重要的事情--如果你真的做到了，你會(huì)為世界或自己帶來好的改變。

　　你職業(yè)生涯中意想不到的轉(zhuǎn)變是什么？

　　The most unexpected turn your career took?

　　在30歲時(shí)，我被選為香港眼科學(xué)會(huì)的秘書長(zhǎng)--這個(gè)職位讓我有機(jī)會(huì)與亞太地區(qū)的眼科領(lǐng)導(dǎo)接觸與互動(dòng)。我更有幸被已故的林少明教授選定繼承他亞太眼科學(xué)院秘書長(zhǎng)的職位。此后，我有機(jī)會(huì)參與并領(lǐng)導(dǎo)不少亞太以至世界眼科的活動(dòng)，例如籌辦2008年的世界眼科大會(huì)。

　　At the age of 30, I was elected the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society – a position that allowed me to have opportunities to meetinteract with ophthalmic leaders of the Asia-Pacific region. I was very fortunate to be chosen by the late ProfessArthur Lim to succeed him as the Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, through which I serve not just the Asia-Pacific, but also World Ophthalmology in a number of roles, including the PresidentChair of the Organizing Committee of the World Ophthalmology Congress (2008).
